Longhorn Wedding Garter

I wanted to share the special order garter that I made last year. Last year you ask? Well I was waiting for the bride to show all her pictures first so that I didn't steal her thunder. Now that it's been over a year I feel pretty safe sharing.

The bride had been looking for a University of Texas Longhorn garter at all the traditional outlets, but she didn't come up with anything. I had the ribbon on hand from some other project and I had white lace and satin to spare so I whipped these two custom garters.

I made one bridal garter and one garter to toss. The bride's keepsake garter had a bit more detail and I added her initial (she was taking his last name) to fancify. Fancify IS a word in Texas thankyouverymuch.

So there you go. Thanks for stopping by for a visit.
